Day 2: Stroop Test
An interactive Stroop Test to explore cognitive interference and attention.

How it Works
About This Project
The Stroop Test is a classic experiment in cognitive psychology that demonstrates the interference between different types of information your brain processes. In the test, you are shown words that name colors, but the color of the text may not match the word (for example, the word “Red” written in blue ink). Your task is to name the color of the text, not the word itself.
This test reveals how automatic processes (like reading) can conflict with more controlled processes (like color recognition), making it harder and slower to respond correctly. The Stroop effect is often used to study attention, processing speed, and cognitive control.
How it Works
This mini-app presents a series of color words, each displayed in a color that may or may not match the word. The user must quickly select or say the color of the text, not the word itself. The app measures your reaction time and accuracy, giving you feedback on your performance and demonstrating the Stroop effect in action.

View Gemini Prompt
Create a simple interactive Stroop Test in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The app should show color words in mismatched colors, ask the user to select the color of the text (not the word), and measure their reaction time and accuracy.
